Safety and quality
Is it safe to have dental treatment in Turkey?
It is safe when you choose a licensed clinic with qualified dentists, recognised materials and proper sterilisation. Check that the clinic holds the Health Tourism Authorization Certificate of the Turkish Ministry of Health, ask who will treat you and which brands are used, and get the plan in writing. Lumos meets all of these points.
Who will treat me?
Our dentists themselves: Uzm. Dt. Mehmet Ercan, a specialist in periodontology who focuses on implants and gum surgery, and Dt. Anıl Fuat Çiftçibaşı, who mainly provides aesthetic treatments. Your plan names your dentist.
How do you sterilise instruments?
Instruments are cleaned, packed and sterilised after every patient according to Ministry of Health rules; single-use items are used once and discarded.
Planning and prices
How do I get a treatment plan?
Send photos of your smile and, if you have one, an X-ray through our form or WhatsApp. You receive a plan with the number of days and a fixed price within 24 hours.
What is included in the price?
Consultation, the X-rays needed for your plan, airport and hotel transfers, temporary teeth during treatment and a written report with guarantee. Flights and hotel are not included.
How do I pay?
At the clinic, in EUR, GBP, USD or TRY, by card, bank transfer or cash.
During and after treatment
What if I have a problem after I fly home?
Contact your coordinator on WhatsApp with a photo. Most questions are solved remotely. If a repair is needed, it is covered according to your written guarantee, and we can work with your local dentist.
Will my dentist at home be able to look after my teeth?
Yes. You receive a report with the treatment done, the materials and implant details, and X-rays. Veneers, crowns and implants are maintained the same way anywhere.
Can I fly straight after treatment?
After veneers, crowns or whitening, yes. After implant surgery you can fly the next day; after a sinus lift we may ask you to wait a little longer.
